            Chart
wheels and other graphic reports can be displayed in JPEG
format with a default pixel density. The following discussion
is a bit technical and you may skip this information as it is
not likely to be important for most users: Pixel density is a
concept used by Adobe Photoshop and a few other programs to determine
how large the image is. Not all software programs use this concept,
and it is a feature available for images in JPEG format but not
other formats supported by Sirius. Pixel density is often confused
with the resolution of the image but it is not the resolution.
Suppose you have an image that is 300 x 300 pixels. This is the
resolution of the image, i.e. 300 x 300. This image can be displayed
                as a 1" x 1" image at a pixel density of 300 dpi, as
                a 2" x 2" image at 150 dpi, and as a 3" x 3" image
at 100 dpi. The dpi (dots per inch) is the pixel density, which
determines the physical size of an image given a particular resolution
(in number of pixels in width and height). If you save a high
resolution image in Sirius (for example, over 1,000 pixels in
width and height) and you view the image in Photoshop at 72 dpi,
the image is enormous, being well over 10 inches in height and
width. To make the image smaller, you view it with a higher dpi.
                The higher DPI does NOT increase the resolution of the image;
it makes the image smaller so that it appears as a higher resolution
image (although its actual resolution has not changed) because
it is displayed in a smaller, more compact area. Files in JPEG
format can be saved with a default pixel density. For example,
if you select 300 pixel density in Sirius, and save an image
that is 1200 x 1500 pixels in resolution, it will appear by default
in Adobe Photoshop as a 4" x 5" image. The size can
be changed in Adobe Photoshop by changing the pixel density,
but this is the default setting.

RECTIFICATION: Rectification in astrology is the process of checking
                various
events in a person's life against their chart to determine
the accurate time of birth if the birth time is not known. Important
events with specific date are used to rectify a chart. If you already
know your birth time (usually listed on a birth certificate) you
do not have to use this feature.
            The
Rectification feature of Sirius is fully automated. It analyzes
all astrological influences related to life changing events in
                a
                person's life
                and
then produces a graph of the likelihood that the person was born
at various times. What could take an astrologer days or even weeks
to calculate can be assembled in minutes and graphed in a clear
            and concise manner!
            ASTROCLOCK: An
AstroClock is an animated real time viewing of the astrology
chart as it changes in time. Using this feature allows you to
view the current position of the planets in real time. You can
select the location that you want the AstroClock calculated for.
            Save
as New Chart Entry: While viewing the
AstroClock, you want to save the current chart displayed on
this screen, you can do so. Sirius has a "Save
as New Chart Entry" button that
provides the very useful feature of saving the current chart as
an entry so that you can easily select for this chart other kinds
of calculations and reports, such as BiWheels, midpoints, etc.
When you select this button, the "Add This Chart to Current
Entries" window is displayed. You can enter the name that
you want to use then click on "OK".
            The
AstroClock Feature in Sirius is extremely flexible. You can Stop
ore re-start the clock at any time. Change the date to any date
that you want to use. Adjust the time used backward (earlier)
or forward (later) with a click of a button either for seconds,
                minutes,
hours, days, months, or years. If you want to reset the time
the current time, simply click on the Reset to Current Time button.
Sirius will autotically reset the time that your computer is
set to. You can also find the time of specific aspects or position
                in real
                time.
                If
                you
                want
                to
                change
the place used in the AstroClock, you can do so quite easily.
You can even customize the chart wheel that you are using if
you chosed to do so. If you want to print the chart in real time,
simply click on the Print button. ASTROMAP
DETAILS: With the traditional AstroMap, you cannot see exactly
how far away from the line the influence extends. The AstroMap
style with blue-shaded orbs solves this problem by displaying
a blue-shaded area around each aspect line that shows how far
each aspect line extends. These blue-shaded areas clearly indicate
how far the astrological influence extends.
The Treasure Map is a very useful and exciting alternative
to the other 2 AstroMap styles. There are 10 different Treasure
Map styles: Love and Romance, Vocation and Career, Friendship
and Family, Imagination and Inspiration, Excitement and Instability,
Friendship and Family Detailed Map, Education and Communication,
Culture and Creativity, Optimism and Opportunity, and the Responsibility
and Focus Treasure Map. Each of these maps shows all of the
astrological influences that are relevant to that area of life.
                All
AstroMaps are Interactive: There are small icons displayed
on the left of the AstroMap to move, zoom, scroll, etc. making
the maping feature in Sirius extremely flexible.
                BATCH
MODE AND INTERACTIVE MODE: Sirius works beautifully in both "batch" mode
and "interactive" mode. You may not be familiar with
the terms "batch mode" and "interactive mode" but
both modes are important to make an astrology program easy and
fun. You can easily check the printouts you want and send them
to the printer (batch mode), or you can view printouts on the screen,
select any printout desired and immediately see it and then click
on the Print button to print it if you like (Interactive mode).
Batch mode is great when you need a lot of printouts, and interactive
mode is great when you want to "play" with the program,
poking around and exploring different ideas. Kepler provides both
              in a very easy-to-use way.

              Compatibility Patterns are divided into
different selections of symmetrical 3-planet patterns, assymetrical

4-planet patterns that have 3 planets from 1 chart and 3 planets
from the other chart, and then two groups of planetary pictures,
those that are formed from 2 planets in each other and those that
are formed from 3 planets in 1 chart and 1 planet in the other
              chart.

Select this option to change the chart orientation viewed on the
              screen or printed.
              * Art
Wheels: Art wheels are beautiful chart wheels. Our art wheels were
designed by graphic artist Paul Guess. The planetary positions
are placed within these exquisitely beautiful chart wheel images.
These chart wheels are perfect for framing. These chart wheels
are best printed on a color printer. For an incredibly stunning
chart wheel, print an art wheel on glossy paper with your color
              printer.
There are 30 art wheels to choose from, and there is a portrait
(normal) and landscape (sideways) version of each art wheel.
In order to make the art wheels as beautiful as possible, we added
the ability to add shadowing to the planetary information in the
chart wheel. This adds extra pizzazz to the art wheel.
            Flexible
Chart Wheels: Wheel and other items in printout can be
resized, moved, given different colors, change fonts and size,
              etc.
