Pegasus is an excellent introductoy program for beginners who has very low budget but want to use a very accurate, easy to use, and affordable program. Upgrade to Kepler or Sirius later, 75% of the amount you paid for Pegasus applies to the upgrade cost to either Kepler or Sirius. Currently, the Pegasus program is only $100.
ACCURACY:
Accuracy and Time Range of Calculations: Planets can be calculated from the years 999 BC to 2300 AD, except the asteroids and 8 transneptunian planets which in some cases cannot be calculated before 1000 AD. Accuracy of all planets is less than 1 second of arc.

COMPUTER REQUIREMENT
Sirius requires a computer with a CD rom drive, Windows operating system 7, 8, 8.1 or 10, 32 MB RAM memory or more, and 1 Gig hard disk space. Also compatible with either 32 bit or 64 bit operating system. Sirius also runs on Mac computers with Windows Operating System installed.
