The newest Mac computers are getting closer to being compatible with
Windows computers. By some time in 2008 Apple plans to ship a new
version of the operating system for these computers that allows
users to install Windows XP; this means that in the future an owner
of one of these comptuers can purchase Windows XP (from a computer
store or MicroSoft, not from Apple) and be able to run Kepler and
            other Windows programs.
At the present time, however, these new
Apple computers can run Windows only if you install a free beta
version of their software. Here is a statement from Apple and their
link to the page with the beta software: "Apple will include technology
in the next major release of Mac OS X, Leopard, that lets you install
and run the Windows XP operating system on your Mac. read
